Yes, well after some time, I've decided to again post on the Internets. This time, I thought I'd discuss my love for yesterday. Not the song, but the day. As you might be well aware of, yesterday was April Fool's Day, a day devoted to people being dumb and generally making fools of themselves, appropriately enough.
The very idea of making a fool of yourself and others is something I enjoy. Of course it has to be funny, none of that lame 'shoe's untied' junk. That being said, I think I enjoy seeing other people's pranks as opposed to my own odd brand of prank. I always enjoy various website's yearly antics and Google is very good at making me think twice about the date.
I try my best from year to year, although this year was more about the subtle attempts to convince people that things had changed. For example, a friend of mine who is a stalwart Apple user was seemingly swayed at first that I had given up on PCs and I was going to get a Mac. For a few brief seconds, my verbal victory was assured, only to come crashing down in a fiery conclusion as he remembered the date. There were others, like jumping out of the dark at my roommate, using the ol' whoopee cushion and trying to convince people that I had given up on everything that matters, but that was the highlight.
Well that's pretty much it, Chad had a good prank that he told me about that involved faking a robbery. Anyone else?

I installed a remote desktop software on our receptionist's computer. She couldn't figure out why her mouse kept moving away from the cards when she was playing Solitaire.
I didn't do anything this year. But, last year some friends really got me. Like....really.
It was a very carefully concocted plan where they took a really creepy picture of one of my friends who often acts creepy, and taped it onto the face of a life-size poster/figurine of Hulk Hogan, and then left it standing right outside my door as I was sleeping. When I woke up and opened the door.......terror certainly filled my heart...
